Yesterday was another great day at Nantasket Beach. I played in the afternoon at Daddy's Beach Club. If you haven't been to Daddy's Beach Club you have to check the place out and preferably on a Sunday afternoon when I am playing.
:-)
Check out Daddy's Beach Club online.
My friends Terry and Jaime are sisters and they are both into music. Terry is in the band The Last Second. Jaime is in the band Everyday Disaster. Terry brought her twin girls along to the show. I had fun meeting Terry and the girls at a show in Raynham as they celebrated her birthday. I have been online friends with Jaime for years but yesterday was the first time I had the pleasure to meet her in person.
Jaime got up to sing and was awesome. She sang the song Laid by James and Wanted Dead Or Alive by Bon Jovi.
It was really fun having Jaime get up to sing a couple tunes and lots of people told me they loved her singing.
Later in the afternoon a gentleman brought his little girl over to the dance floor and she danced up a storm. She had the place captivated.
After playing a number of upbeat tunes I decided to get the sampler going and jump on the floor to dance too :-)
Daddy's Beach Club is a great place for families on a Sunday afternoon.
I was psyched to see my friend Theresa come into Daddy's. She said she was home watching Lifetime and said to herself Hey wait, Jimmy is playing, I am going to the show. The conclusion is that going to the beach and hearing live music at Daddy's Beach Club is way more fun than watching Lifetime.
:-)
Theresa called and invited Debbie to come down too.
I admire Theresa because she is one of my friends who is really determined to really live life to the fullest.
I was happy to see Ray and his wife stop in again. Ray loves Jethro Tull so I did a rendition of Thick as A Brick.
There were a number of happy campers at Daddy's on Sunday.
These ladies requested Tom Petty and county tunes.
The folks at Daddy's Beach Club are awesome.
People were raving about how good the the pizza is.
The service is excellent as Daddy's.
