Summer in Midstream - July 2012
Summer is such an awesome season. I love summer. In July the summer shows were a lot fun!
Started The Month At Daddy's Beach Club
The first show of the month was a Saturday afternoon performance at Daddy's Beach Club on Nantasket Beach.
A bunch of friends came out for the show.
That always makes the show more fun to know you have supporters in the crowd.

July 4th at Daddy's Beach Club
On Independence Day I played a fun show at Daddy's Beach Club.
The Fat Cactus - Randolph
The show at the Fat Cactus in Randolph in July turned out to be a great 'jam session'.
The restaurant is attached to a hotel at the same location and some of the guests were at the show. A couple of gentlemen approached me and explained that they were visiting from New York for a wedding and that they were musicians. They were travelling with a keyboard and a guitar. When they asked if they could join me I said sure. They were great musicians. The keyboard player soloed on the instrument like the best players I have seen at concerts like Santana. The guitarist was no slouch either. We had a great 'Jam.'

Daddy's Beach Club 7/7 2012
The best show of summer so far at Daddy's Beach Club was on July 7th.
The group of folks there that day really wanted to have fun and they did.
At one point we had a conga line running through the place and we ended the show with a 'limbo' contest.

Sunday Funday at Hajjar's
Every second Sunday I play at Hajjar's. I played a full band show with Mike McHugh and Bill Lawnsby at Hajjar's for 'Sunday Funday' in July. This was the first time having a band for the Sunday Funday show at Hajjar's and it turned out to be a great night. More pics online here.

The Fat Cactus in Lynnfield on RT1 - First and Third Sundays
I had some nice shows at The Fat Cactus on RT 1 in Lynnfield, Mass. One Sunday my childhood friend Bill came to the show with his wife and friends. Bill is my friend Mike Shea's brother. Mike plays congas and drums at my gigs from time to time.

The third Sunday show got pretty animated as the evening went on with people dancing and getting into the act singing.
My friend Jaime got up to sing a couple tunes with me that night too.

This show was totally awesome. At one point just about the whole place was dancing to American Pie. See the crew above. They requested it twice. :-)
It was great to see some wey-town folks at the show!

The July show at St John's Athletic Club was a fun night in July.
Daddy's Beach Club
The July 28th show at Daddy's Beach Club was a good time!
People danced and sang along and requested songs.

The last show of the month was at The Sand Dollar Bar, the best bar on Cape Cod.
It was great to have some home town folks in the crowd.
It was a great show to end the month of July.
